BEA Systems Powers New On-Line Workspace At Procter & Gamble
Procter & Gamble Focuses On Dramatically Increasing Information And Knowledge Access: Enhancing Efficiency And Empowering Decision-Making
High Wycombe, UK. — March 26, 2008 — BEA Systems, Inc., a world leader in enterprise infrastructure software, today announced that Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) implemented a service-oriented architecture (SOA) powered by BEA technologies. The SOA powers a new on-line workspace at Procter & Gamble. It has been designed to help improve and support decision making while increasing access to knowledge assets.
The new workspace uses numerous BEA technologies, including BEA AquaLogic® User Interaction as the front door into the workspace, BEA AquaLogic® Service Bus as the integration and messaging hub of the SOA, BEA AquaLogic® Data Service Platform to allow data from a variety of sources to be accessed on demand, BEA AquaLogic® Enterprise Security to protect sensitive data and files, and BEA WebLogic® Server, which provides the foundation for many essential applications.
