LONDON—April 28, 2008—BEA Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAS) a world leader in enterprise infrastructure software, today launched a series of Next Generation Application Infrastructure Seminars. Taking place during May and June 2008 across 19 European cities, this exclusive series of free, half-day events is designed to help customers and partners understand how a mission critical, enterprise grade engine can deliver innovative, next generation applications. Featuring keynote presentations from BEA executives and real-world customer success stories, the events will inspire Architects and IT Managers to learn about the challenges and demands that will need to be met by application infrastructures in the future—from the adoption of enterprise-wide SOA, Web 2.0 and enterprise mashups to virtualization and Event Driven Architecture.
During the seminar series, delegates will explore current IT trends putting application environments under increasing pressure; what really matters at the foundation of their IT system; and how today’s Java application infrastructure can be used to build tomorrow’s infrastructures. Moreover, the events will examine how Event-Driven Computing can help customers develop a competitive advantage together with how Java Virtualization can enable customers to do more work with less hardware—and still be more agile.
